Castillo de Corfe

In the county Englishman of Dorset is this castle in ruins that it dates back to the 11th century, constructed to monitor the step on the route between Wareham and Swanage. In the 13th century, the castle was used to guard royal exchequers and as prison. It continued being a royal strength until in the 16th century Isabel I it sold to Sir Christopher Hatton.
